Indeed, can we get an official word from Anet on what will happen in this case? This could really screw people over if they're just standing there defenseless when a connection problem happens.

I've gotten disconnected, and been on teamspeak at the time. The other people in my party tell me that I am still there, so it makes no difference if you are trying for survivor. Your character remains in the 'instance' for some time after you disconnect, with or without this new feature.

Get your survivor by playing fort aspenwood on the Luxon side by standing at the spawn portal and not moving.

No chance of you dying there, and in a few months you can get your 1337500 XP to max out your survivor title.

And probably rank 4 of the Luxon faction title.

Most of the experience you need to get legendary survivor is after level 20.
